    Marine Corps Air Station New River is one of several USMC air stations located throughout North Carolina, New River is home base to several Helicopter squadrons, listed below, and one of the few "Osprey" trial facilities. Other USMC Air Stations are; Bogue Field, a Harrier training facility located in Carteret County, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, located in Craven County.
